(Note: There is nowhere in the Bible that teaches that the anointing is TRANSFERABLE)

-- But There is something different that happens when the healing angel comes.

-- there is going to be a release of those healing spirits. There is going to be a release of those healing angels in different ministries that are here tonight.

(Note: There is NO 'healing angels' mentioned anywhere in the Bible
nor is there any mention of "healing angels' being released to ministries anywhere in the Bible.
1 Corinthians teaches that THE HOLY SPIRIT gives gifts of healings as HE WILLS.
There are NOT healing angels that accompany ministries / ministers.)

(Thought: Not only is this not Biblical, but it is downright frightening.
What are you calling out to?

(My Thoughts: Well, you wouldn’t get me to ask for something that’s NOT BIBLICAL.

Why did the great Apostles who started the church NOT have such manifestations?
Why didn’t they have OIL DRIP from the hands, to express the ‘healing anointing’?

Why did Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who had the Spirit WITHOUT MEASURE,
NOT have such manifestations…..no oil from His hands; no gold dust appearing in His meetings?

WHY NOT?

Because it’s not Biblical.

These manifestations are NOT mentioned in the Bible (but DO appear in Cults . Stigmatas and oil dripping from Mary statues, gold appearing in occult and new age conferences... you can research such manifestation in these cults if you do a Google Search.

I'll be sticking to the Bible, thank you.)

What is the NEW BREED?

This teaching seems to have started in the 1940’s with William Branham and Branham’s followers.

They believe in restoration of the Church and 5 fold ministry;
They believe that Christ will be manifested in the Church and give it power to conquer the world for Christ;

A perfection of the saints, immortalization and becoming like Christ in nature and ability will bring about the greatest end-time revival of history:

Rick Joyner, The Harvest booklet: “This harvest will be so great that no one will look back at the early church as a standard; all will be saying that the Lord has certainly saved His best wine for last. The early church was a firstfruits offering, truly this will be a harvest! It was said of the Apostle Paul that he was turning the world upside down; it will be said of the apostles soon to be anointed that they have turned an upside down world right side up. Nations will tremble at the mention of their name.”

They believe the RAPTURE will actually be a “collective transformation to immortality on earth” :

…..Rick Joyner, The Harvest booklet, page 121: “the doctrine of the Rapture was a great and effective ruse of the enemy to implant in the Church a retreat mentality … already this yoke has been cast off by the majority in the advancing church, and it will soon be cast off by all”.

They teach about a triumphant church which will subdue the earth, reign in political realms and communities and bring about God’s purpose on the earth:

They're going to bring diabolical princes down. …..Rick Joyner also states in The Harvest, pages 128-129: “Angelic appearances will be common to the saints and a visible glory of the Lord will appear upon some for extended periods of time as power flows through them. There will be no plague, disease, or physical condition, including lost limbs, AIDS, poison gas, or radiation, which will resist the healing and miracle gifts working in the saints during this time.”

They will be known as “Joel’s Army” bringing judgment upon the earth;
They will become immortal and overcome death:

Don’t these statements CONTRADICT SCRIPTURE which states:

2 timothy 3:1 --- But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come;

2 timothy 3:13 --- But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Matthew 24:3 – the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them: “TAKE HEED THAT NO ONE DECEIVES YOU. For many will come IN MY NAME, saying, “ I am the Christ”, and will deceive many, and you will hear of WARS and rumors of wars … these things must come to pass …. Nation will rise against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes …. All these are the BEGINNING OF SORROWS. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake…Then many false prophets will rise up and DECEIVE MANY … but he who endures to the end shall be saved …. When you see the ‘abomination of desolation’ … and unless those days were shortened, NO FLESH WOULD BE SAVED; …. Oh, I could go on writing out the entire New Testament which shows things will get WORSE before Christ’s return …. NO WHERE IN SCRIPTURE is it mentioned that the Church will have Victorious Dominion over the earth and subdue the earth FOR Christ !!!

Scripture also states death will only be defeated at Christ RETURN:

1 Corinthians 15:51-54: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

The LAST TRUMPET is when Christ returns for His Church:

1 Thess. 4:16-17: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

And Please remember these Scriptures:

2 Timothy 2:15 -- Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

Hosea 4:6 -- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Those that know me know that I love revival, but I also place great emphasis on doctrine and integrity. In fact, I make decisions of support of people and their ministries based on these two qualities. That being said, in the very early stages of revival, I went to visit Todd Bentley in Lakeland, FL. My purpose was to champion revival, and I had great hope that it would be one that would sweep the world.

At that time, I didn’t know much about Todd or his doctrine, but had some concern. Over the last two months, it has become a major concern to me. I have some strong doctrinal issues with his extra-biblical views.

Also, our hearts are saddened that Todd has chosen to resist council from credible individuals and has legally separated from his wife. Our prayers go out to both him and his family. We know this will bring great hurt to many in the Body of Christ. That’s just what this type of thing does. It’s the sheep that usually get hurt the most.

I've got to say, with the different Charasmatic "leaders" coming out with statements about Bentley NOW that his inappropriate lifestyle has been acknowledged / exposed, I am STILL ANGRY THAT LEADERS OF THE CHARASMATIC CHURCH have not broken down WHICH DOCTRINE they are disturbed about.

There have been generalized statements about Bentley and "his doctrine" but NOT ONE LEADER that I am aware of, has gone point by point over Bentley's doctrine and SHOWN HOW it is in contradiction with the Bible.

Really .....

What kind of LEADERS don't educate the sheep?
Are they breaking down Bentley's doctrine and exposing it in pulpits somewhere other than the internet and magazines, but afraid to mention it on a public platform?
If yes, then why?
Don't the MASSES of Christianity need to hear from LEADERS what correct Biblical doctrine is, and where Bentley erred?
Isn't that what a Leader is supposed to do? ... correct, teach, reprove, etc.

Aren't those who were DUPED by Bentley and the Lakeland circus valued enough, to be given a break down by actual LEADERS of the Charamatic church, showing where Bentley spoke heretically or extra-Biblically.

After all, us little bloggers don't seem to have enough clout to convince these Lakeland followers that our Bibles are actually teaching something different than what Bentley has taught. And I wonder if Charasmatic LEADERS .... people held in esteem by sheeple / followers .... would have more impact on the Charasmatic deceived followers.

Sigh.

If only a great, Seminary-educated, looked-up-to, appointed LEADER would actually stand up and PREACH a Bible text and show the Christian Community WHERE Bentley was decieved/heretical/in error.

Another, sigh.

False Prophecies Spoken Over Todd Bentley?

I think the poster brought up a GREAT point ...... the words of the PROPHECIES spoken over Todd Bentley should be looked at, now that we know that Todd Bentley has #1 - walked in inappropriate relations with a female staff member and #2 - has separated from his wife

What kind of PROPHECIES were 'made' / spoken over Todd?
Were these true prophecies, from the Spirit of God?
If God truly speaks through these men on a frequent basis, why would GOD'S Spirit be so 'off' / incorrect concerning Todd?
Are these 'prophets' truly prophets of God, or do they speak their own imaginations?
What does God's Word say about 'prophets' who speak their own hearts desires and imaginations?

TODD: I had a visitation, I was preaching in Sumatra …. 2^nd day there, middle of night, my room mate woke me, and asked “I’m really sick right now” … and great healing evangelist, I said “Go to bed and I rolled over to go to sleep, … and as soon as I went to go to sleep a white lightening bolt came into my hotel room and as quickly as I could scream the name of Jesus an angel stepped out of the white lightening bolt and stuck his hand in my belly and an electrical current, I was electrocuted, I felt electricity go all the way through my body, and I screamed and my body started to vibrate and I was caught up, blinding white light, I couldn’t see anything but light, and I couldn’t scream, I couldn’t say the name of Jesus, and I felt the power of God like electricity, go all the way through my body .

When I am out of that experience, my room mate was instantly healed, …. for one week, everywhere that I went I literally vibrated for a week straight. Literally. And every meeting that I did was so electric with the power of God, I said “God I’ve never seen anything like this.”

And when I prayed for people, people would say, “When you laid hands on me I saw a flash of white light; When you lifted your hand and prayed for the sick, we saw a white light come from your hand” And I started to hear all these testimonies from people saying, ‘ When you laid hands on me I felt electricity go through my body”. And I said, “Do you know that I was electrocuted? And I had the HEALING ANGEL appear to me in Indonesia and I felt the virtue of Jesus.

….. the power of God was so awesome in that meeting AFTER THE ANGEL CAME ….

In just a few minutes we’re going to release a healing anointing and release the healing angels, and prophesy a coming healing revival and people are going to receive a TRANSFERABLE, TANGIBLE healing anointing and its gonna break out in your city, break out in your church, its gonnna break out in your region, gonna break out in your nation and its gonna break out in this tent.

Hooray for the Angel … so glad the angel appeared to bring power!...???
Where is the “Glory to God”?

TRANSFERABLE, TANGIBLE Healing Anointing?
No such thing mentioned anywhere in the Bible;
GIFTS of healing are given by the Holy Spirit as He wills 1 Corinthians teaches …. Believers lay hands on the sick and the sick recover, Mark 16 teaches … but nowhere does Scripture teach a TRANSFERABLE, TANGIBLE, healing anointing; )

Here’s an Angel vision for the Lakeland audience:

TODD: John and Carol Arnott are here from Toronto; and the glory of god was coming down in the olive garden; and john shared a word with me that I felt that heaven is on this word; I think it is going to happen tonight;

JOHN: ….. I had a phone call and then an email from our dear friend dr. Scott Mcdermott who told me that he had a visitation of two angels while sitting in his office; he’s a united methodist pastor who loves the anointing; …

JOHN: …. and he had a visitation of two angels in his office; and he noticed they had packs on their backs; like back packs, like stuff in their back packs; he said what are u doing, where are u going?

And the angels said, we are visiting every site of revival where the spirit of god was being poured out in the ’90’s; and we want to know if those locations still want revival and still want the anointing once again;

And if they do, more angels will be coming and the anointing will greatly increase all over those hundreds and hundreds of sites where the spirit of god was being poured out

TODD so god was offering a re-digging of the wells;

TODD: and this man saw two angels that were ready to go back to anywhere in the world that accepted the outpouring in the 90’s’ , Toronto, Pensacola, anywhere that was touched; the angels want to go back to those same locations
JOHN: Todd, they were going, and his church is one of them …..

(There is no mention of “RE-DIGGING of WELLS in the Bible;
The Apostle Paul never went to any ‘old sites’ where God had been known to show up {eg: where Jacob saw the ladder into heaven}
Paul never DUG UP OLD WELLS, never looked for old wells, never taught about seeking old wells;
This is rubbish !!!
God did not want an alter on the Mt. Of Transfiguration,
God is not teaching to honor any location above another, there is no LOCATION more anointed or more OPEN than another;
INDIVIDUALS count; preach the gospel to every PERSON;

PEOPLE are the focus of God ….. NOT LOCATIONS !!!

ALSO:
There is NO MENTION in the Bible that ANGELS bring revival;
The HOLY SPIRIT touches people, teaches people, leads people, convicts people;
NOT ANGELS …. This is unbiblical teaching.)

Ignorance Is NOT Bliss

Haven’t we heard it said, “Ignorance is bliss”?

Well, it’s not.

Ignorance is actually DEADLY.

The Word of God says:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)

And ignorance I believe, on the part of the body, is fueling Lakeland.

Just because you are hungry for a move of God, doesn't mean that you should throw away your Bible.

In fact the opposite is true ....

You should be very careful to compare the teachings of the Lakeland Leaders to the Bible, just as the Apostle Paul encouraged us to do:

Study to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth NOT to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
