This is Manifest Sons of God Doctrine / the New Breed / Joel's Army teachings;

They teach that:
The Church  will be triumphant on the earth, bringing all the earth into submission to itself …this contradicts 2 Thess 2: 3-12 or 2 Tim 3:5-12;
They teach that Christ will NOT RAPTURE the Church, but will show up THROUGH the Church … this contradicts 1 Thess 4:16-17;
The Church must put all the world in order … ‘the restoration of all things’ and  THEN Christ can return to the earth … this contradicts 2 Tim 3:13, or how about Revelation 19:11-21; 
Some teach / believe that  the Church will be so triumphant that they will even overcome death / they won’t die … check out Revelation 6:9-11;

PORTALS are not found anywhere in the Bible  -- note: God does not limit Himself to one specific geographical location, where carnal believers or unsaved would set up altars and worship that location versus worshipping God Himself…even as the Apostles wanted to set up altars on the Mt. of Transfiguration and God would not allow such.

There is NEVER once mentioned in the New Testament any reference to having to be at a Portal or desiring a Portal to be opened to allow access into Heaven … For the Kingdom of God IS WITHIN US !!!!

Todd:    On April 3rd, I had angelic encounter and I saw this is the one thing, people hate … when I talk about the Angel …. People say ‘don’t talk about the angel’ but I’m telling you, right now, to deny prophetic destiny and what you’ve rec’d from Lord is to turn from Lord; I could not stand before the Lord, and say I saw the angel of lord, if I did not see it; God would strike me down; but I saw the angel of the Lord a HEALING ANGEL; April 3rd, I knew what it meant; the angel said, as confirmation, call bob (Jones) on phone right now, but bob doesn’t answer his phone, but bob answered, and bob said "The ANGEL "WINDS OF CHANGE" visited you this morning,", and I (Todd Bentley) said yes;

This reminds me of  Colossians 2:18-19 --  18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. 19 He has lost connection with the Head,
for Todd and these teachers LOVE to talk about their ANGELIC experiences.
#1 – there is NO HEALING ANGEL mentioned in the bible;
#2 – ‘Winds Of Change” angel is given credit as starting this revival,  yet,  NO ANGEL in the bible ever brought revival because  the preaching of the gospel is up to MEN to do … the Book of Acts shows revival beginning through the preaching of men, and healings worked through the hands of men)

Bob Jones continues:  so I RELEASED MY ANGELS TO HIM .......this man from Canada (Todd Bentley) ASKED FOR MY ANGELS;  this “Winds of Change” is the most powerful …. Except for the arch angels, this 'Winds of Change', this is the most powerful angel. .... To blow away stupor, fog; get glory of god on you. So the faith of god will work thru you.   It’s not that hard to understand;

No where in Scripture are we told  to ASK FOR an angel or angels;
And no where in Scripture are we shown that other people can REALEASE angels to other people !!!!!  Totally UNBIBLICAL)

On December 4, 2008 I received the below ARTICLE in my email written by Lee Grady at CBN.com

Todd Bentley's FRESH FIRE MINISTRY has released a report, according to the CBN article, telling everyone that
Todd had been drinking inappropirately during the Lakeland Revival Meetings,
as well as having an inappropriate relation with his nanny.

This is sad news.
Why was there not one Leader found, to have the guts to say, "This is wrong" and invite repentance for Bentley
and bring protection for the sheep?

This is where the Church Body fails miserably today, I believe.
We are too afraid to be called "judgmental" and so we let liars, thieves, adulterers, drunkards, etc. continue
to minister to the Body.

This is to our shame.
Paul teaches that we ARE to "judge those inside (the church)" and that we are to
"expel the wicked man from among (us)"   1 Cor 5:12-13.

None of us are PERFECT;  but if one, especially a LEADER, has an ONGOING
addiction or habit of sin, then such should not be allowed to teach, preach, lay hands on, or
have direct influence in the Church Body.   Paul states we should even "expel" the person,
in the hopes that they will be "ashamed" and brought to repentance (2 Thess 3:14).

May God have mercy and cleanse us and mature us,
so that we can walk in His ways, as it is written.

"... Late last week the board of directors of Fresh Fire Ministries—which Bentley resigned from in August—released a lengthy statement to update its supporters on Bentley’s condition. The letter confirmed that (1) Bentley is “resolute in his intentions” to divorce his wife, Shonnah—and that “he admits to being 100% responsible for the divorce”; (2) his relationship with his former intern is ongoing; (3) the evangelist drank inappropriately during the revival; and (4) he has yet to enter into a clear system of accountability with Christian leaders who have offered to help him.

The six-page statement, which defended the impact of the Lakeland Revival, did not excuse Bentley’s behavior. “We believe there are currently no biblical grounds for Todd to leave his wife and children,” the board members said. They added: “The nature of the present relationship between Todd and his former staff member is that of adultery.”

and I’ve gone over and over the “Digging of OLD WELLS” in my other posts,

so for this segment, I will simply focus on THE NEW BREED.

What is the NEW BREED?

This teaching seems to have started in the 1940’s with William Branham and Branham’s followers.

They believe in restoration of the Church and 5 fold ministry;
They believe that Christ will be manifested in the Church and give it power to conquer the world for Christ;

A perfection of the saints, immortalization and becoming like Christ in nature and ability will bring about the greatest end-time revival of history:
…. Rick Joyner, The Harvest booklet:  “This harvest will be so great that no one will look back at the early church as a standard; all will be saying that the Lord has certainly saved His best wine for last. The early church was a firstfruits offering, truly this will be a harvest! It was said of the Apostle Paul that he was turning the world upside down; it will be said of the apostles soon to be anointed that they have turned an upside down world right side up. Nations will tremble at the mention of their name.”

They believe the RAPTURE will actually be a “collective transformation to immortality on earth” :

…..Rick Joyner, The Harvest booklet, page 121:    “the doctrine of the Rapture was a great and effective ruse of the enemy to implant in the Church a retreat mentality … already this yoke has been cast off by the majority in the advancing church, and it will soon be cast off by all”.

They teach about a triumphant church which will subdue the earth, reign in political realms and communities and bring about God’s purpose on the earth:

…..Ern Baxter, National Men’s Shepherds Conference, 1975:  “God's people are going to start to exercise rule, and they're going to take dominion over the Power of Satan. They're going to bring diabolical princes down. The dark powers that hover over the Parliament buildings of the nations are going to be paralyzed by the corporate prayer of an authoritative community. As the rod of His strength goes out of Zion, He'll change legislation. He'll chase the devil off the face of God's earth, and God's people together, doing the will of God, will bring about God's purposes and Gods reign.”)

…..Rick Joyner also states in The Harvest, pages 128-129:  “Angelic appearances will be common to the saints and a visible glory of the Lord will appear upon some for extended periods of time as power flows through them. There will be no plague, disease, or physical condition, including lost limbs, AIDS, poison gas, or radiation, which will resist the healing and miracle gifts working in the saints during this time.”

They will be known as “Joel’s Army” bringing judgment upon the earth;
They will become immortal and overcome death:

…..Todd was seen yelling “defeat death, defeat death, defeat death” as he excitedly proclaimed numerous resurrections from the dead,
and read Ryan Wyatt’s teachings on my May 28^th, 2008 Lakeland Quotes;

…..Paul Cain, “Joel’s Army, 1990, page 218 says:  “Not only will they not have diseases, they will also not die. They will have the kind of imperishable bodies that are talked about in the 15th chapter of Corinthians ... this army is invincible. If you have intimacy with God, they can't kill you.”

…..Paul Cain, in “The New Breed” says:  “So my point is, that there will be a manifestation of the sons and daughters of God. And it won't be this baloney that we've heard of in the past; I mean, there's been a few people tried to walk through a wall like this over here and knocked their brain loose, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a true manifested son of God: if anyone walks through this wall over here, they're not going to tell you about it- I mean, they're just going to do it. And sons of God don't tell you they're sons of God, they'll just show You! Amen!”;

…..Paul Cain, Nov ’88 tape, “My Father’s House” says:  “I want you to know he's coming to the church before he comes FOR the church. … it's not a trip to heaven, but it's really him coming to make his abode IN US, so I guess, look out planet earth, the Lord is coming back again, he's coming to his people!

COME ON BRETHREN !!!!

Don’t these statements CONTRADICT SCRIPTURE which states:

2 timothy 3:1 --- But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come;

2 timothy 3:13 --- But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Matthew 24:3 – the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be?  And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them:  “TAKE HEED THAT NO ONE DECEIVES YOU.  For many will come IN MY NAME, saying, “ I am the Christ”, and will deceive many, and you will hear of WARS and rumors of wars … these things must come to pass …. Nation will rise against nation, famines, pestilences, earthquakes …. All these are the BEGINNING OF SORROWS.  Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake…Then many false prophets will rise up and DECEIVE MANY … but he who endures to the end shall be saved …. When you see the ‘abomination of desolation’  … and unless those days were shortened, NO FLESH WOULD BE SAVED; …. False Christ and FALSE PROPHETS will rise and show GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS to DECEIVE, if possible, even the elect …..

Oh, I could go on writing out the entire New Testament which shows things will get WORSE before Christ’s return …. NO WHERE IN SCRIPTURE is it mentioned that the Church will have Victorious Dominion over the earth and subdue the earth  FOR  Christ !!!


Scripture also states death will only be defeated at Christ RETURN:

1 Corinthians 15:51-54:   “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

The LAST TRUMPET is when Christ returns for His Church:

1 Thess. 4:16-17: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

And Please remember these Scriptures:

2 Timothy 2:15 -- Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

Hosea 4:6 --  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

2  Timothy 3:14-17  --  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;   And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
