Leviticus 6:1-7:27

I beat you are glad you were not living during the Old Testament times.

Leviticus 7:1-6

Notice again the entrails, kidneys, and fat were burned, but the meat was eaten by priests.

Leviticus 7:19-27

Was this just a random rule or did God have a purpose in it? I believe there were health resasons behind the guidelines. Things that were unclean were more likely to have disease. Disease would also be in the blood.

Leviticus 4:1-5:19
Leviticus 4 Praise God, when we sin, we have Jesus to forgive us, instead of having to do all the rituals. Catholicism with all of its rituals when you sin is works oriented like the Old Testament.

Leviticus 5
I believe part of the reason for the clean and unclean is God was using the law as a means to keep the people healthy-less chance of getting a disease.

Leviticus 5:4
Having to go through the ritual, would stop some from making foolish vows.

Leviticus 1:1-3:17
Leviticus 1:3
Notice the sacrifice was to be without defect. Jesus as the sacrificial lamb had to be without defect.

Leviticus 2:11
No offering was to have leaven (yeast). The reason was that leaven or yeast was symbolic of sin. Why symbolic of sin? Leaven will leaven the whole lump. If you hang around sin, you will be tainted with sin.

Leviticus 3
It is interesting that most of the time the fat, entrails, kidneys were to be consumed by fire-they were not to be saved for Aaron to be eaten. Was this coincidental or was there a reason why God wanted them consumed by fire, not eaten?

Once again the rumors have started up that Facebook is going to charge a fee for their service. Facebook has officially stated they will not charge a fee for basic service. What does basic service mean?

If there is any truth to the rumors that the fees will start in June, maybe it is time for us to reconsider the idea of creating a Christian Social Networking site.

Exodus 39:1-40:38
Exodus 39:2-3
Thread made of gold-what skill that would have required.

Exodus 39:7
Everything was done as he Lord commanded. Are you doing all that the Lord commands-If we are honest, we all fall short but that should be our goal.

Exodus 40:34
The presence of God was so strong Moses could not enter the tabernacle.

Exodus 37:1-38:31
Exodus 37 Take note of everything that was made with pure gold. Where did all the gold come from? From the booty that the Israelites got from Egypt. Don't forget they left Egypt as slaves having nothing but what was given to them-the favor of God.

Matthew 28:1-20
Matthew 28:8-10 Why did Jesus appear to the women before the other disciples? Simple, they were where Jesus could be found. Are you where Jesus can be found, or are you dragging Jesus with you in places where you should not be?

Matthew 28:11-15 Notice it was the priests that bribed the guards. They took God's money to bribe people. What is sad is that this happens still at times.

Matthew 28:18-20 The Great Commission is for all followers of Jesus Christ. What is sad is in one survey over 80% of Christians interviewed did not even know what the Great Commission was about.

Psalm 34:11-22
Psalm 34:11-14 Do you want to live a long and prosperous life? Then don't lie, turn from evil, work towards peace.

Psalm 34:15-22 Do you want the favor of God? Be humble, walk in righteousness, and serve God.

Proverbs 9:9-10Do you desire to walk in wisdom and righteousness?

Exodus 35:10-36:38

Exodus 35:10-29
The people gave willingly. When you hear the call to help support a ministry are you as willing to give what you can? This passage reminds of a story my wife told me. In the Philippines here church was in a building program. The people came to church and willingly gave their jewelry and other possessions.

Matthew 27:32-66
Matthew 27:34
Jesus refused to lessen the suffering he was going through-He knows the suffering each of us go through.

Matthew 27: 39-44
Jesus remained humble in the midst of the mockery. He trusted His life, and even His death, in the hands of the Father.

Matthew 27:45-46
The sin of mankind, our sin, separated Jesus from the Father.

Matthew 27:50-54
Even with all these events, there were many who instead of being like the soldiers, instead hardened their hearts. Some people say they would believe in God if they saw Him. The Pharisees and others saw God in the flesh and still did not believe in Him. Sin, rebellion, stubbornness, and pride and prevent people from seeing the obvious.
